We know vaccines prevent deadly diseases. We understand the important contribution to the health of our pets vaccines make so we make special efforts to keep you informed of what your pet needs. Vaccines protect not only pets but humans as well from communicable diseases.
Dr. Powers spent 25 years as a tax accountant on Cape Cod before electing to return to school and pursue her long-held desire to become a Veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate work in bio-medical molecular biology at Bridgewater State University and received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine; fulfilling a clinical year at the Boren Veterinary Hospital at Oklahoma State University and a surgical preceptorship at the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals at the London University Royal Veterinary College. Powers Veterinary Hospital is a Certified Human Animal Bond Hospital. This means that your pet is recognized as a member of your family. All visits are conducted with that in mind. Visits are as comfortable, fun and stress-free as possible for the pets and owners alike.
We strive to know every pet by name and every owner personally in order to fully provide the healthiest life for every pet.
We are pleased to partner with Heartland Petmedics. They not only provide transportation in emergency situations but can transport your pet to and from our hospital for preventive care. They even offer pooper scooper services!
